VFR circulation

  • AFIL flight plans are not accepted.
  • IFR training, touch-and-go and ANAC check flights only on Saturdays from 0800 to 1000 and 2200 to 2300 UTC and on Sundays from 0800 to 1000 UTC.
  • SBJP: operations by aircraft without radio are prohibited; mandatory contact with Pessoa Tower before taxiing.

Remarks

  • The TMA is class A between FL145 and FL195 and class C between 3500 FT and FL145.
  • There is no João Pessoa TMA: SBJP lies inside the Recife TMA. In the real world, Pessoa Tower also provides approach service inside the João Pessoa CTR.
