Departures

• Departure instructions: observe the VAC.

Approaches and Landings

• RWY 12/30 is approved for VFR OPS with the following minima for LDG and circling: ceiling 1500FT and VIS 5KM.
• AD available for night OPS: TKOF only from THR 12 and LDG only on THR 30, EXC HEL.

Aerodrome Regulations

• LDG/DEP OPS permitted only for transponder-equipped ACFT.
• OBS VAC for joining or leaving the traffic circuit.
• HEL wishing to cross from SECT "E" to SECT "W" (and vice versa) in the vicinity of the AD shall contact TWR Marte.
• Training FLT, ANAC Check and TGL:
  • DLY 0900-1200 and 1900-0200: SUBJ COORD and AUTH from TWR Marte;
  • DLY 1200-1900: only for ACFT based at the AD and SUBJ prior AUTH from the Airport Operations Center;
  • ACFT on public security and armed forces service: AUTH without COORD.
• Boarding and disembarking passengers with the engine running without prior COORD with the AD operator is PRB.

Aprons and Taxiways

• Engine run-ups AUTH only in the RUN UP area (former helicopter PRKG area), upon COORD with TWR Marte, from 1200 to 2300.
• Engine checks for training FLT AUTH only at the holding bays near THR 12 or THR 30.

Runways

• THR 12 displaced by 300M.
• THR 30 displaced by 150M.

Additional Information

• OBS ACFT on training flights near the AD.
• Kites at THR 12, THR 30 and in the traffic circuit, mainly SAT, SUN and HOL.
• Beware of possible unmanned balloons (weather sounding balloons) in the S SECT of the AD.
• OBS concentration of birds (vultures) in the S sector and in the traffic circuit.
• For contingency procedures and low-altitude VMC circulation near the AD, OBS the obstacles published on the VAC.
