Approaches and Landings

• During SR and SS, ATTN to the possibility of glare from the rising and setting sun, which may impair seeing and identifying the THR AUTH for LDG.

Aerodrome Regulations

• The AD may be used regularly by any ACFT compatible with RCD 4C or lower.
• Special OPS AUTH: B757-200 OPS are allowed in accordance with the special PROC described in the MOPS approved by ANAC.
• OBS VAC for joining or leaving the TFC circuit.
• Observe the AFIL prohibition.
• Observe that approaches or landing sequences may be refused to ACFT due to airport congestion.
• School and training flights should preferably be carried out on RWY 03/21 and are subject to AD flow management.
• OBS ACFT on training flights near the AD.
• The following classes and types of ACFT are restricted:
  • ACFT WO RDO EQPT;
  • GLD;
  • ACFT WO transponder or with a failure of this EQPT;
  • Powered ultralight FLT.
• The following air services are restricted:
  • Dropping of objects or spraying;
  • ACFT towing;
  • Parachute jumping;
  • Aerobatic FLT.

Aprons and Taxiways

• Engine start-up and pushback only after COOR with the airport administration through the apron marshal. Once released, the ACFT must call the control unit.
• ACFT on domestic or INTL TFC weighing more than 12 tonnes: pushback is compulsory when leaving the PRKG.
• Movement on TWY Y2 of Apron 1 is subject to an 8KT speed restriction for code C ACFT.
• ACFT with a wingspan of 36m or more are restricted from using certain TWYs under their own power (ACN/PCN balance, jet blast, wingspan and length). TWR will coordinate the operations of these ACFT with the airport administration.
• A "FOLLOW ME" vehicle can be requested through TWR.

Runways

• RWY 03/21: LDG/TKOF OPS of jet (turbojet) ACFT PRB.
• RWY 03/21 OPR VFR day/night.
• RWY 03 first 180M and RWY 21 last 180M CLSD for LDG/TKOF due to the provision of RESA.
• THR 21 displaced 140M.

Additional Information

• Bird concentration along the sides and in the TFC circuit and SECT APCH RWY 14/32 and 03/21: southern lapwings, ibises and swallows. Higher incidence between 0900 and 1200 UTC and in the late afternoon.
