Operations

Aerodrome Regulations

  • Uruguaiana AFIS is operated remotely from the ACC Curitiba premises (CINDACTA II). Area of responsibility corresponding to class G ATS airspace.
  • Specific PROC for COM contingencies:
    1. Use the RDO FREQ as FCA and set code 7600 on the transponder;
    2. Fly the IFR IAC if AD MET INFO is obtained via ACC/AFIS; if NEG, NO AUTH IFR LDG;
    3. Fly the SID if AD MET INFO is obtained; if NEG, NO AUTH IFR DEP;
    4. Observe the other ICA 100-12 rules for COM failure.
  • OPS outside the AD operating hours are restricted to aeromedical, public security and special operations. General aviation ACFT are not authorized outside the published hours.
  • OBS agricultural ACFT flying near the AD.
  • ACFT in the TFC circuit and on the LDG RWY: OBS TFC on IFR PROC in APCH and DEP.

Aprons and Taxiways

  • RWY 10/28: 180° turnaround of ACFT with PMD above 40T only at the THR.
  • The apron has no tie-down points.

Additional Information

  • OBS bird concentration (southern lapwing, bare-faced ibis, buff-necked ibis, maria-faceira) in the TFC circuit, APCH SECT RWY 10/28 and on the grass areas alongside RWY 10/28.
