Operations
Aerodrome Regulations
- Civil ACFT may use the AD as DEST or ALTN only with AUTH from the Air Cadets Preparatory School (EPCAR). FAB ACFT, MIL ACFT of other forces and civil ACFT on TREN or TROV flights are previously AUTH and must comply with the procedures set out in the Operational Letter of Agreement for use of the AD.
- AFIL flight plans will not be accepted by Barbacena Radio.
- Barbacena AFIS OPR remotely from the Brasília ACC facilities. Area of responsibility corresponds to Class G ATS Airspace.
- Specific PROC for COM contingencies:
- Use the RDO FREQ as FCA and squawk 7600 on the transponder;
- Perform the IFR IAC if AD MET INFO is obtained; if NEG, NO AUTH IFR LDG;
- Perform the SID if AD MET INFO is obtained; if NEG, NO AUTH IFR DEP;
- Observe the other ICA 100-12 rules for COM failure.
- OBS ACFT on training flights near the AD.
